For 2024, buyers can choose from nine different trim variations when shopping for the new Nissan EV. Depending on the trim level chosen, the Ariya has either a 160kW, 178kW, 250kW, or 290kW motor. 

Power And Performance

In the hands of MotorTrend Magazine, the Ariya has decent to good performance. The base models with a single motor produce 214 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds. Stepping up to the dual-motor setup, which produces 389 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, sees that number drop to just 5 seconds.

Compared with the Tesla Model Y, the Nissan Ariya features standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a feature no new Tesla has.
