With standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, the Pathfinder comes with Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, Rear Automatic Braking, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Driver Alertness, and Rear Door Alert. Thanks in part to these features, for the 2024 model year, the Nissan Pathfinder was awarded the coveted Top Safety Pick+ designation by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), making it not only one of the easiest vehicles to put a car seat in but also one of the safest for families.
